Thanks NSA
The Trouble With America is that we are living in a country with an increasingly paranoid government.
See http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/05/11/nsa.phonerecords.ap/index.html.
If we live in a country where our government has this much control over us, our phone records, and our right to privacy, then what are we trying to protect?
Can we have liberty without privacy?
Can we have freedom without a right to communicate with each other about whatever we want?
Should a government really have that much power that it can listen to what anyone is saying?
If you say that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are/were just, and you say that the reason for the wars was to spread and perpetuate freedom, then the question I have is: is this freedom?
